Judy Bradshaw, President

Judy Bradshaw was the Executive Director of Learn to Read, Inc., a nonprofit providing reading, math, and language classes to low literate adults until December of 2018, when she took on the position of President of Steadfast Resources. During her time at Learn to Read the number of students served and revenue of the organization doubled.  She achieved the increase of students served in part by developing strategic partnerships with other nonprofits such as the YMCA, Community Connections, Clara White and ARC. 

Bradshaw’s prior work experience includes outside sales of textbooks to universities for national publishers, multi-state management of staffing hours for the sales force staff of a national retailer, and ownership and management of a small retail storefront business. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

She has a passion for community service and currently serves on the board of Florida Literacy Coalition and Lifeworks Leadership Jacksonville.  She is a member of Women’s Giving Alliance and United Way’s Women United.  Other involvement has included volunteer leadership position with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Cancer Society, Girl Scouts, Children’s Home Society, Impact 100, school PTO and booster club organizations.

Leonard Ziwenjere, Director

Leonard Ziwenjere is a Senior Projects engineer with a leading international telecommunications corporation in Zimbabwe. He has 9 years of telecommunications experience and is a graduate of the National University of Science and Technology with a degree in Electronic engineering.

Leonard has vast experience in Optic fiber network rollout, MPLS, GPON, VoIP, WiMAX, LTE and other wireless technologies.

He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the NUST Graduate School of Business. He is an avid advocate for digital transformation and is currently pursuing studies in MSc. Data Analytics and Enterprise Architecture with Arden University.

Khethiwe Mhlophe, Director

Khethiwe Mhlope is a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow who has an avid interest in business leadership. She is an engineer at one of Zimbabwe’s telecommunications corporations with more than 7 years’ experience in ensuring a rich and immersive experience for the customer.

Khethiwe has a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computer Science from NUST and has sought to develop herself with a Masters in Telecommunications from Anglia Ruskin University and an MBA in Strategic Management from NUST. She is passionate about efforts to achieve economic gender parity especially in the ICT field and is committed to promoting an awareness in girls and young women on how to pursue careers in ICT so as to gain economic inclusion.

J. Nelson Bradshaw, Advisor

Bradshaw is a Regional CEO in the US for an international bank where he has managed multiple markets for the last 18 years. He has 34 years of commercial banking experience and is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Finance. Bradshaw also received additional executive management training at The University of Texas and IESE Business School-University of Navarra.

He has held numerous civic leadership positions over the years including State board positions with the Florida Development Finance Corporation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Florida Bankers Association, and NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Association.
